How do I join if I do not own or work for a Scottish registered company?

GlobalScot support is funded by the Scottish government and is focused on Scottish-based organisations. If you’re Scottish based but don’t have a Scottish Companies House number, you may still be able to register. You can fill in our manual registration form which we’ll review and let you know within 5 working days. You’ll still need to have a trading address in Scotland.

If you work for a Scottish public sector organisation, it may be more appropriate for you to sign up as a member of Team Scotland. Many GlobalScots are willing to offer support to the public sector, for example by attending events, offering insights and expertise, or promoting Scotland and Scottish businesses to their networks. If you work for a company or organisation outside of Scotland, it's unlikely that you'll be able to join as a business member or Team Scotland member. However, if you have the right expertise, you can apply to become a GlobalScot to offer support to Scottish businesses.
